( Moore & Wright is one of Europes premier maker of precision tools. ) This 5-6 inch micrometer is a beautiful tool made to the highest standards . Moore & Wright tools are made in the European tradition with robust and accurate components through out. It features hardened steel micro-lapped anvils for measuremts from 5-6 inch with a vernier sleeve graduated to 0.0001 inch. The Spindle has a lever lock and a rachet speeder. Comes complete in the orginal fitted box and adjustment wrench. The plastic fitted liner in some of the boxes has cracks from decades of storage. The Micrometers are new and perfect though. In the close up of the thimble you can see some lint/dust on the micrometer . CAT NO. 419-10360-966B/5-6.
