The Lot.209 trousers carry the DNA of early 1920s work pants, a wide silhouette anchored by buckle-back adjustability. They build on the Lot.704 denim design, but reinterpret it through small-batch dyes and hand-applied artistry. Variants in beige and black are batch-dyed to create subtle shade differences, while Damaged Sumi Dyed Black is garment-dyed with charcoal and then intentionally distressed to show natural wrinkles and whiskers. Hand-Drawn Sumi versions are even more singular: each panel painted with sumi ink brushstrokes by Yuzen dye artisans, making every pair one-of-a-kind. Hardware details include iron buttons and back parts marked with original engravings, some left uncoated to age over time and others treated to smoky metallic finishes for vintage depth. What you get is a trouser that straddles heritage, craftsmanship, and quiet experimentation—each pair aging into its own story.
