New Old Stock 1960’s PROTO of CANADA Ltd CLIK-STOP 712L 12″ Adjustable Wrench which is strangely also marked MFD USA . I had originally thought this was a Canadian made Proto wrench before I saw in small letters on the back of the handle “MFD USA”.
Beautiful new old stock adjustable wrench made back in the days when quality meant something. This heavy duty wrench features a satin chrome finish on the handle and a highly polished chrome on the beautifully tapered jaws. The CLIK-STOP technology causes a click as the knurled thumb wheel is turned and the jaw moves. With each click the jaw moves a fraction of a mm. The Clik-Stop locking design holds the moving jaw of the wrench in place when the wrench is in use. This wrench is premium vintage quality that is no longer found.
